Description
The Chau Gong is a very elegant and distinctive gong that produces a full and sustained wash of musical overtones. Its beauty and traditional appearance makes it a great centerpiece to have in any space. The first Chinese Chau Gongs date back to the Han Dynasty where it was used for spiritual drumming, large meetings, and to announce the procession of important people.
The Chau Gong differs in shape from the Wind Gong in that it has a rim around the outside edge.
Our Chau Gongs are fully hand-crafted and with a traditional hand-hammered finish.
Each gong includes tied rope for hanging and a beater for playing.

If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with a product, pay for a return label with the item in saleable condition within 15 days for an exchange or refund of the product price. We will retain a 10% restocking fee on returns. Custom orders, if placed, are sold as is and all sales are final.
